How heyGo remembers your choices and uses optional measurement tools.
Last updated: 15 October 2026Your choice comes first
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar technologies can measure visits and interactions. Our preference cookie is used to remember your choices. Optional tracking scripts load only after you allow their category and the tool is configured for this website.
What we use
Necessary preferences
heygo_cookie_preferences stores the consent version, your choices and the time you saved them. It lasts for 180 days, applies across heyGo pages on the same hostname, and contains no name, email or phone number. Rejecting optional tracking still saves this preference cookie.
Google Analytics 4 — optional analytics
When enabled and accepted, Google Analytics measures page visits and events such as rider or driver waitlist clicks and successful contact submissions. Its first-party cookies can include _ga and _ga_*. This integration requests a 180-day cookie lifetime and disables Google advertising signals. Google receives technical information needed to process these measurements.
Microsoft Clarity — optional session recording
When enabled and accepted, Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings of website interactions. Its cookies can include _clck and _clsk. The contact form and other forms are explicitly masked. Clarity may still receive technical information such as device, browser and page information. See Microsoft’s current cookie list for cookie purposes and lifetimes.
Meta Pixel — optional advertising
When enabled and accepted, Meta measures page views and the same limited conversion events, and may use them for advertising audiences. Cookies can include _fbp and _fbc. We do not send contact details, message content or advanced matching data through this integration. See Meta’s Cookie Policy for its cookies, lifetimes and handling.
What our conversion events contain
We record event names for waitlist link clicks and successful contact submissions. A waitlist click does not prove that someone joined a WhatsApp group. We do not include form values in these events. Google page locations exclude query strings and fragments. Providers may independently receive page URLs and browser or network information; avoid putting personal information in URLs.
Change or withdraw permission
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer or the button above. All optional choices start off. Saving your choices reloads the page so only permitted tools can run. When you withdraw permission, we send available consent-revocation signals and clear accessible first-party tracking cookies. We cannot directly delete third-party cookies or erase information already received by a provider. You can also clear cookies using your browser settings.
Third parties and contact
Google, Meta and Microsoft have their own privacy practices and may process information outside Nigeria. Review Google’s Privacy Policy, Meta’s Privacy Policy and Microsoft’s Privacy Statement. WhatsApp and Instagram links open external services with their own policies.
