How much does heyGo charge drivers?
heyGo charges drivers 0% commission on trip fares. The amount the rider pays for the trip goes to the driver. heyGo does not take a percentage of your trip fare.
What benefits do I get when I register as a heyGo driver?
heyGo is built to give drivers more control over their work and earnings. You can choose when you want to drive, see trip information before accepting a request, access driver support, and most importantly, keep the full fare paid by the rider because heyGo charges 0% commission on trips.
What do I need to become a heyGo driver?
You’ll need a valid driver’s licence, an eligible vehicle, the required vehicle documents, identity verification, and a successful vehicle inspection before you can start accepting rides.
How long does it take to register and get approved as a heyGo driver?
Registration itself only takes a few minutes. Complete your driver profile, upload the required documents, and take your vehicle for an approved inspection. Approval depends on how quickly your documents can be verified and your vehicle inspection is completed. Once all required checks have been successfully completed, your driver account can be activated.
Do I have to drive regularly or meet any trip, earnings, or working-hour targets?
No. There are no fixed working hours or minimum trip requirements. You choose when to go online, when to accept trips, and when to stop driving.
How are heyGo fares calculated?
Fares are calculated using factors such as trip distance, estimated travel time, pickup distance, traffic conditions, operating costs, and current demand. The fare for a trip is shown before the ride is accepted.
How do I get paid?
You’ll see the fare before accepting a trip, and your earnings are recorded in the heyGo Driver app. Supported payment methods are cash, bank transfer and in-app payment. The payment method for the ride is shown in the app.
What vehicles can be used on heyGo?
Eligible vehicles must meet heyGo’s safety, condition and documentation requirements. Model year 2000 vehicles may qualify, subject to approval and the other requirements. Your vehicle must pass an approved inspection before activation and renew its inspection every six months.
I own a vehicle that is driven by someone else. Can I register the vehicle on heyGo?
Yes, provided both the vehicle and the person driving it meet heyGo’s requirements. The driver must have their own approved driver account, while the vehicle must have valid documentation and successfully complete the required inspection.
Can more than one approved driver use the same vehicle on heyGo?
Yes, an approved vehicle may be linked to more than one approved driver, provided each driver has completed heyGo’s verification process and is authorised to use that vehicle.
Do I need to display heyGo stickers, logos, or advertisements on my car?
No. You do not need to display heyGo branding on your vehicle simply to drive on the platform. heyGo may occasionally offer optional branding or promotional programmes, but participation would be communicated separately.
